I don't get what you mean but what is 8, but I can tell you the square root of 36 is 6. Finding the square root is easy. It's the same number multiplied by itself like 81. The square root is 9. 49, the square root is 7. Makes sense?
8(root36) means 8 multiplied by the root of 36 (unless it's a small 8 on the root, then it means the eight root). I'm guessing it's the first choice. So you'd go 8(6)=48. This comes from 6 being the square root of 36
