Moral diplomacy means that the U.S. government should A) favor honorable diplomacy but may still resort to military intervention. The idea of moral diplomacy was first introduced by president Woodrow Wilson in 1912 and the main concept was that the government would only support countries who's moral beliefs are comparable to theirs. In the case of military intervention the U.S. uses these means of moral diplomacy as a last resort as opposed to honorable diplomacy.
