Respuesta :
The Muchkins were fascinated by Toto being a small creature like them, but very brave.
The Munchkins are tiny creatures that Dorothy comes into contact with in "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz." They can't fight the Wicked Witch of The West because they're too scared of it, as they are tiny and fragile, with no power to defend them.
For this reason, when they realize that Dorothy's puppy, named Toto, is as brave as the girl, even though he is small and fragile, they are fascinated by the dog. Because the dog shows that they are capable of great things too.
With this, we can see that:
- Toto represents an model for them.
- Toto showed that courage is the greatest strength one can have.
- Toto left the Munchkins very grateful and happy.
With this, we can conclude that Toto's presence in the book is greater than representing a faithful friend of Dorothy's, but showing an example of courage and strength.
