My claim would be that the Corals that are all over the world, are slowly going extinct. There is a multitude of reasons why to think this, all of which are supported by the text "Grief Along the Reef". As is noted on the fourth paragraph of "Greif Along the Reef", zit quotes "Over the last 10 years, 25 percent of the world's corals have disappeared due to climate change, disease, pollution, commercial harvesting." As I said before, coral has been on a decline due to either natural or human cause. As stated in the text " Today, 75 percent of all reefs are threatened by a combination of local and global threats. Hurricanes, boat groundings, and dragging anchors can all kill coral."
