The House has several powers assigned exclusively to it, including the power to initiate revenue bills, impeach federal officials, and elect the President in the case of an Electoral College tie. The Senate is composed of 100 Senators, 2 for each state.
The Congress refers to the National Legislative Body which comprise of both the Senate and House of Representatives.
Basically, the Congress of the State holds at House of representative while the Congress of Federal level holds at Senate.
The U.S.Senate consist of 100 senators which are representing 50 states while the House of Representative consist of 435 voting members and 6 non-voting members.
In conclusion, both the Senate and House of Representative have the responsibility of creating law and checking the Executive powers.
