Athens was more democratic because it is government by the people instead of government by those elected by the people.Greek democracy created at Athens was direct, rather than representative: any adult male citizen over the age of 20 could take part, and it was a duty to do so. The officials of the democracy were in part elected by the Assembly and in large part chosen by lottery in a process called sortition.

No it's not less democratic but more democratic. As mentioned above, today's time has less democracy because not eeveryone can be taken to the court and peole just vote whoever they like.

This is a type of government were the people are the ones that are responsible for picking the leaders that they want to represent them.

It was less democratic given the fact that only free adult males were considered as citizens that could vote.
