> James B. Duke, a respected southerner from North Carolina, played a major role in the industrialization of the region.
> He developed the tobacco industry in that part of the South.
> Duke created the American Tobacco Company.
> Iron fabrics were established in the south at the end of 1890.
> Steel production rapidly grew to represent a high percentage of the national production.
> That steel was necessary for the construction of railroads across the country.
> Railroads improved the transportation of goods and people.
> This increasing industrialization of the South allowed for the creation of many jobs so much needed in the region.
We can conclude that despite the fact that you forgot to attach the text and the graphic organizer, we did deep research to find that industrialization played a major role in the development of the South during the post-Reconstruction period.
