This is what the quote from Act 3 Scene 1, line 63, reveals about Macbeth's thoughts and plan:

Macbeth has been told by three witches that he will become king of Sctoland. However, he is also told that he will not have sons, which means no inheritors to the crown will come from him. The crown will, with Macbeth's death, be given to someone else - someone unrelated to him.

The line reveals that Macbeth is angry about that fact. He is angry that all his hard work will be for the benefit of someone else, that someone being Banquo and his family, who will inherit the crown. He now plans to kill Banquo to prevent him from taking the crown.

By famous British playwright and poet William Shakespeare (1564-1616), the tragic play Macbeth is homonym to the main character.

Macbeth, at least as the play puts it, becomes king of Scotland after committing several crimes, including murder. He and his wife make an ambitious couple who will do anything to achieve their goals.

However, their criminal actions begin to take a toll on them. Lady Macbeth, for example, soon begins to hallucinate about the dead. And Macbeth, although trying hard to keep the crown, is no match for fate. As the witches predict, Banquo's sons inherit it.

In conclusion, the line we analyzed above reveals Macbeth's anger due to the witches' prophecy and his plan to kill Banquo.
