well, it depedns on the dog. but if your dog is really hyper and wont listen to you, instead of telling it to stop or yelling at it try calming it, or grabbing it's attentinop with somethnig else. maybe call its name and make squak-ish sounds, or next time your briging your dog in the car bring a toy that he/she really likes. then you can easily distratc him.
also, it be very easy to just clsoe your windows, but i understand how you may need them open or they have to be manually closed and opened from the door, not a button
