This is an opinionated question so your answer can vary, but here is mine:
I think immigrants are less welcome today than they were in this past. This is because the government has implemented many more rules and regulations about immigration nowadays compared to the past.
I do not feel that America is practicing nativism because we have a many cultural diversities in this country.
