65 + (65(2) - 65(2)^0.35 = T + (T^0.0825) = 65 + 130- 82.8464408 =112.153559 + (112.153559 *0.0825) = 112.153559 + 9.25266862 (ST) = 121.406228 = $121.41 reduced price inc ST Price without discount = (45(3))^1.0825 =147.807432 = £147.81 subtraction savings = IP-RP = 147.81 - 121.41 = $26.04 I showed both formulas but the use of ^0.35 one at start is used to reflect T1 + (T2+T3 discount) bare in ind if all 3 shirts are $65 and the prie went up 35% you could show and use 1 in front instead 65+((65(2))^1.35 = (T + (T1+2^1.35) then add the ST by multiplying total by 1.0825 T + (T^0.0825) = (T^1.0825) also as we use 0.0825 to show ST and we use 1.0825 for quicker formula's that are increasing and that we we wouldn't need to add on as shown in bold ST and the preferred method is T^1.0825
