Answer:

1. you can get HIV through infected blood, semen and vaginal fluids because its your body so then it has the blood flow from there and you can get it from your reproduction body parts, you can get HIV's if you have sex with a person (oral or regular sex) then the infected blood can be transmitted when a person touches the infected blood and can get into their bloodstream.

2. I think they can't get HIV from day to day contact because most people don't have sex with random people every day and they also might not be touching someone's blood every day (unless your a doctor and they know how to not get any disease's from anything)

3.  It takes a while to know if an infected person has HIV, because it takes a long time to get into your bloodstream and then from there reproduce and the symptoms don't start as soon as you get infected. in most cases it takes a person up to 1-2 years before they show any symptoms.

4. You can protect yourself from HIV by wearing protection while having sexual intercourse and you can stay away from any contact with someone's blood, semen, and vaginal fluids. this way you can't get infected at all.
