The grinches deck of cards contains 40 blue cards and 70 red cards. Maxes deck of cards contains the same number of blue cards, but the ratio of blue cards to read cards is 8 to 9. How many total carbs does Max's deck of cards contain?

The answer is that Max has 45 red cards.
How:
40/x = 8/9
Then cross multiply
360= 8x
X= 45
85 because the amount of blue is 5 times 8 and since it is 8:9 the nine must be 45 then add 45 and 40
