1. When Peter saw that Jesus was about to be arrested he took a stick and cut the slave's ear off.

2. After Jesus had seen what Peter had done he told him not to cut the slave's ear because he was born to sacrifice himself and he gave the slave another ear.

3: Jesus went willingly and without a fight. He accepted God's plan for him as something he had to do to save us.
