The role of nationalism and militarism that plays in the build up to war is that nationalism does not only contributed to the beginning of war but extends it. Each country prove their dominance and power by nationalism and pride over each other. On the other hand, the evidence of militarism includes building huge armies, developing military technology. Thus, it builds a big thing in war.
