Earth science is important because it looks at earth's place in the universe, impact of science on society, recent history on Earth or impact of culture on society
it looks like earths place in the universe because it teaches you about ancient times and thats helps you with what happened to it over time (in the universe) and what we are doing now that is effecting gthe earth and also you talk about what might happen if the sun explodes.
