The British East Indian company was one of the largest and most influential company in India. They did there best to dominate India. There trades with Asia expanded by a lot actually, thanks to her majesty Queen Elizabeth 1. The purpose of the trade group was to not only form a greater bond between the two corresponding countries, but to strengthen trades with Asia - who had ideal resources. It also strengthened the Military armed forces, by increasing Indians' involvement in the military.
