I'm not too sure if you're looking for help with a multiple choice question, or if this is just an open-ended response type of thing, but here is what I know about this topic.

Isreal was known for having a lot of different climates. It's home to several mountainous regions, a small but useful plain, and a well-sized river, known as the "Jordan River". One of the most well-known climate feature of Isreal is Mount Hermon, which is about 2, 224 meters above sea level (and North of the Golan Heights)!

The best part about Isreal's climate is it's useful, coastal plain! This plain is very populated. In fact, it is home to two of Isreal's most populated cities, known as, Tel Aviv and Haifa! The plain is also known for its fertile soil, which helps to supply these cities with several water sources! The plain also helped Isreal make history because it contains some of the country's major transportation arteries!

So, if you would like me sum this whole answer up for you....

Isreal's geography and climate played a huge role in its history by helping to transport everyone and everything, supplying water to its citizens, being useful enough so that the people could grow food, and a bunch more!

I hope this helps! :) I didn't have a whole lot fo time to answer this, as I have some things to take care of, but I tried my best to help you out! I know that history can be frustrating. World History is my current biggest struggle, as I have no background knowledge about any of this stuff that we are learning about (which is odd, considering I love learning about history and have always spent my free time researching). Let me know if you need help with anything else! I'd be more than happy to help you! :)
