It would be: -1 2/3 * -5 1/4
= -5/3 * -12/4
= 60/12
= 5
So, Your Correct answer would be 5

Convert both numbers to improper fractions by doing ((whole number * denominator) + numerator)
Therefore we are left with
-1 2/3 to -1/3
and
-5 1/4 to -19/4
-1/3 * -19/4
Multiply numerators, and multiply denominators.
