Respuesta :

If you are pertaining to the reaction of the villager's after the elephant ACTUALLY DIES, then the answer would be A They returned back home, chatting about the event.

The villagers were talking about whether or not it was right to shoot the animal. The younger villagers thought that it was a shame, though the older ones thought that it was the right thing to do. The officers were not too sure about anything. This was because of what happened to the elephant when it got shot. It did not die right away, and even if it took in more bullets, it was still alive. It died slowly when the narrator finally gave up and left it to die by its wounds.
the correct answer to this is They rush to strip the animal of its meat.
