The three processes take place during cellular respiration are :- 1. Glycolysis : we start with a glucose molecule which has six carbon molecule backbone. It is divided into two pyruvates which is 3 carbon molecule backbone. Then it uses two ATP s to produce 4 ATP s 2 NADHs . (Remember this happens twice because we have two pyruvates this is one of the pyruvate.) . Then we comes to 2. Kreb's cycle or citric acid cycle :- it produces 2 ATPs , 6 NADHs and 2 FADHs net. The pyruvate enters the krebs cycle the one of the carbon reduced by oxygen to form CO2 and the remaining reacted with oxaloacetic acid (c-c-c-c) molecule to form citric acid (cccccc) molecule then this citric acid turns to form this oxaloacetic acid again and the two carbon reduced to produce co2 again. 2 ATPs are also formed during this cycle. Then we enter the next stage. 3. Electron transport chain:- it produces 38 ATPs by various processes .
