I don't know what your activity is but i will try to explain the concepts of co-dominance as well as dominant and recessive genes in a pair of alleles. Genes are units of inheritance found in the chromosome. Genes occur in pairs called alleles. Each pair of alleles control a certain trait. The expressed trait as a result of the genes combined in a pair of alleles is called the phenotype.
Usually, one allele in the gene is expressed whenever it is present. This is called the dominant gene. The recessive gene is only expressed in the absence of the dominant gene. It then follows that the phenotype of the organism depends on the presence or absence of the dominant gene.
