That's false. Yes, the brain does process information from each ear,
but it uses the slight difference between them to create ONE perception
of the location of a sound.
If someone stands behind you and snaps his fingers, that's how you can tell,
without looking, whether he's standing behind your right shoulder or behind
your left shoulder.
