ok, so
here is the wy to find it for any set of points (overkill for this question)
find the slope
for (x1,y1) and (x2,y2), the slope is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)
given (0,8) and (6,8)
slope=(8-8)/(6-0)=0/6=0
y=mx+b
m=slope
y=0x+b
find b

given
(0,8)
x=0
y=8
8=0(0)+b
8=0+b
8=b

y=0x+8
y=8

the equation is y=8 (this answer is overkill)

The equation is y=8

How to find a slope?

Find the slope for (x1,y1) and (x2,y2), the slope is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) given (0,8) and (6,8)

⇒ slope=(8-8)/(6-0)

⇒ 0/6=0

⇒ y=mx+b

⇒ m=slope

⇒ y=0x+b

find b:

given

x=0 , y=8

⇒ 8=0(0)+b

⇒ 8=0+b

⇒ 8=b

⇒ y=0x+8

y=8

The slope is calculated by finding the ratio of the "vertical change" to the "horizontal change" between (any) two distinct points on a line.
