The town of Baker is located between the towns of Apple Valley and Cold springs Spring on a linear stretch of highway. If the distance from
Apple Valley to Cold Spring is 39 miles and from Apple Valley to Baker is 12 miles, what is the distance from Baker to Cold Spring?

*One thing we should remember before we start the problem is what "linear stretch means! It means that all of these places are on a straight line.

Apple to Cold = 39 mines

Apple to Baker = 12 miles

Baker to Cold = ?
