a war happened at least a 10 centuries after god created the world and more people died and after the war who ever lived moved far far away from it and never returned
Jerusalem is sometimes referred to as the "City of Sorrows" because many people died in a war during biblical times, and a lot of families left after the war. The babilonians also took over the city and sent Jews into exile.
