Ahhh the cask of amontillado is such a good story!! Montresor means the opposite of what he says. That is what verbal irony is. If it was situational, the situation would be opposite of what we expect. Dramatic irony is when we know something a character does not know (and, at this point in the story, we do not know Montresor’s plan to murder Fortunato and neither does Fortunato). Thus, the answer would be the last one.
