Respuesta :

The total height in feet of the  piece of plywood is 14 foot.

Pythagoras theorem

The theorem states that the square of the hypotenuse of a right triangle is equal to the sum of the square of the other two sides.

The Pythagoras theorem: a² + b² = c²

where a = length

b = base

c = hypotenuse

13² = 5²  + h²

169 = 25 + h²

h²  = 169 - 25

h²  = 144

h = √144

h = 12 foot

Height of the plywood

12 + 2 = 14 foot
