Chemical and Physical changes are relative but also different. Chemical changes is an substance that can make a chemical reaction to any substance and also make a new Substance. There are some chemicals in Physical changes. In physical changes there are lot’s of things can happened like boiling hot water for example: If you put salt and water together do you think the salt will dissolve? No, it won’t because the salt still stays in the water all the way at the bottom. Hope this helps<3
Physical change refers to those changes that alter the physical properties, without modifying the composition, while chemical changes alter the distribution and bonds of the atoms of matter.
How to compare and contrast chemical and physical changes?
- Chemical changes are a type of alteration in matter that modifies its chemical constitution.
- The physical changes of matter do not alter its composition, that is, they do not modify the chemical structure of substances.
- Physical changes are usually reversible, since they alter the form or state of matter, but not its composition.
- Chemical changes alter the distribution and bonds of the atoms of matter, causing them to combine differently, thus obtaining different substances.
Therefore, we can conclude that chemical changes cause matter to combine differently to obtain substances different from the initial ones, while during a physical change, the substance does not change, that is, it does not involve a chemical reaction.
