100 POINTS GIVING BRAINLIEST

Why do you think the diagram uses double-headed arrows to represent the exchanges occurring within Earth’s subsystems?

The arrows in the diagram show continuous, cyclic movements from one subsystem to another without an end. Reflect upon your previous answers and knowledge of Earth’s subsystems to determine whether the arrows in the diagram best represent matter, energy, or both. Explain your answer and provide at least one example that occurred during the Precambrian era.

According to the diagram and your previous responses, is Earth an open system or closed system? Explain your answer and provide at least one example that occurred during the Precambrian era.

Respuesta :

According to the diagram the earth is an open system. Because energy flows freely into and out of systems, all systems respond to inputs and, as a result, have outputs. For example, water and chemicals, as well as energy enter and leave the boundaries of a watershed system. Outputs from one part of the system are inputs for another part. This linked output-input connection is often called ‘feedback’.
