You get off on the wrong foot with a new coworker.
They ask you for help responding to a customer inquiry, but you refuse to lend a hand because you are working on a tight deadline and don't want to
waste time. There has been tension between you two ever since, and now you need their help on a project, but they're not being very responsive

im sorry, I could not help at that time I was trying to get in some papers that were on the deadline so I was not trying to waste any time. I would let you know before time if I have something due so you can come and ask me to help you. But i really need help with this project so if you have time to help me with it could you pls help. If you don't then I would understand and ask someone else to help me.
