A company had 2x10^5 employees in 2010. That was 2.5 times the number of employees in 1985.
How many employees did the company have on 1985?

So, we start by solving what the numbers are..

2x10^5 = 200000 IN 2010!

Now this is where you might get confused,  that WAS 2.5 times the number IN 1985  

So you divide 200,000 by 2.5 = 80,000


Therefore its C.
The answer of the question is the letter c
