True - the Mughal ruler Akbar practiced religious tolerance, and was a great supporter of cultural blending.
Fun fact - Akbar was Muslim, but married a Hindu princess & adopted many of her customs. He had an immense appreciation for other cultures and enjoyed the peaceful coexistence.
