One famous person from the Cold War Era is Winston Churchill. After leader England in WWII, history records him as one of those that raised the specter of an "Iron Curtain" across Europe.

What Famous technology was invented in the Cold War Era?

It is interesting to note that the Internet, Transistors, Chips, and Global Positioning System were all inventions that made advancements in technology possible the Cold War Era.

Some notable event of the Cold War Era is the Containment of Russia, the arms race between the Soviet Union and the USA, the Fall of the Berlin Wall etc.
