Kathy volunteers more time to charity despite her busy schedules more than her friends because she considers volunteering to charity as a humanitarian service. Kathy is of the opinion that helping other people will create unity and togetherness amongst people in the society.

There are several ways an individual can volunteer in the society. These are the following ways;
