How does Macbeth feel about the battle?
A. He thinks he has magical armor protected by God so he can't be hurt.
B. He is angry and afraid because the English are on the way to attack him.
C. He is confident because he believes the prophecy from the witches and thinks he can't die.
D. He thinks he can outsmart all of the Scottish lords and live forever as king.
Macbeth exhibits overconfidence in the situation. He believes that since nothing bad has come to him yet, that he is exempt from death or harm, which we know is not true upon reading the final scenes.
