1. To come to Him: "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." (John 6:37)

2. To receive Him: "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." (John 1:12)

3. To call upon Him: "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

4. To confess Him with the mouth: "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:10)

5. To commit oneself to and rely completely upon Him: "To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord." (2 Timothy 1:12)

6. To obey His Word: "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" (Luke 6:46)
