Hi student, let me help you out! :)

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

We are asked to solve the formula [tex]\mathtt{C=\pi d}[/tex] for [tex]\mathtt{\pi}[/tex].

[tex]\triangle~\fbox{\bf{KEY:}}[/tex]

  • We need to get pi all by itself on one side of the equation.

To achieve our goal, we should divide both sides by d:

[tex]\mathtt{\cfrac{C}{d}=\cfrac{\pi d}{d}}[/tex]

On the right, the d's cancel, and guess what happens? Pi is all by itself, on the right side of the equation!

So this is the formula:

[tex]{\boxed{\mathtt{\pi =\cfrac{C}{d}}}[/tex]

Hope it helps you out! :)
