Hi student, let me help you out! :)

We are asked to find the slope of the line that contains the points (-2, 7) and (2, 3).
[tex]\triangle~\fbox{\bf{KEY:}}[/tex]
- Finding the slope is a piece of cake, as long as we use this formula:
[tex]\star~\mathrm{\cfrac{y2-y1}{x2-x1}}[/tex]
Where:
y2 and y1 = y-coordinates
x2 and x1 = x-coordinates
Substitute the values, which gives us:
[tex]\mathrm{\cfrac{3-7}{2-(-2)}}[/tex]
Upon simplifying this,
[tex]\mathrm{\cfrac{-4}{2+2}}[/tex]
Upon simplifying this more,
[tex]\mathrm{\cfrac{-4}{4}}[/tex]
[tex]\bigstar~\mathrm{\underline{-1}}[/tex]
Hope it helps you out! :D
