Given that the length and width of a rectangle are consecutive integers

Let the length of the rectangle be x+1 meter

Let the breadth of the rectangle be x meter

Also given that perimeter of the rectangle is 30 meters

To find length and breadth of the rectangle

We know that perimeter of the rectangle is P = 2 (l+b)

30 = 2 (x+x+1)

15 = 2x + 1

2x = 14

x = 7

x+1 = 8

Hence, the length of the rectangle is 8m and width of the rectangle is 7m
