To manage solid waste, the steps we can take are :

  1. Do not burn your waste materials
  2. Segregate your waste into biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials.
  3. Reuse peeled fruits and vegetables as fertilizer.
  4. Recycle your biodegradable materials into usable ones
  5. If you use plastic grocery bags, reuse them for your small trash.
  6. Buy products that are organic like food, soap, and detergent.
  7. Do not throw your waste in the streets, dispose properly.
  8. When going to market, use reusable bags, or eco-bags.
  9. Old clothes can be used as rags.
  10. Minimize the use of plastic in any occasion.
