There are a number of laws and principles which govern the different interactions between the number of charged particles. While, the charge particles posses the specific orientation of net positive or negative charge on its surface which provides the required information about the same particles if it interacts with any other charged particle in its space or region of influence in which they can effect any number of test charges.
But, there is a specific law which explains the properties of a charge particle when it interacts with some other particle in a given space or region, which is termed as, "the Coulombs law".
- Coulombs Law states that, each and every charge particle will have an acting force,F on each other(will be attraction if they are opposite in nature and will repel if same in nature) inside a given space or medium.The magnitude of force will be directly proportional or related to the total amount of charge,Q on the particles, while the same force,F will have a inverse relation with the distance between the square of radius,r² of the two or more charges inside the given space.
