The cardiovascular system has five parts:
Arteries- carry oxygen blood away from the heart to the body and form the circulatory system.
Capillaries- carry blood to the skin and other tissues.
Veins- return blood to the heart from the rest of the body.
Heart- pumps blood throughout the body.
Blood- carries oxygen to cells, waste away from cells, disease-fighting cells, regulates pH levels and regulates body temperature.
