First we have to find how much gas was used:
We divide 3.3 by 129 to see how many 3.3 is in 129 (if that make sense)
However, we will get 39.09
Since one gallon is 3.3 miles then 39.09 gallons of gas was used.
So how much is now left we minus 180-39.09 = 140.91
We now find what percentage is 140.91 of 180.
n/100 × 180 = 140.91
n/100 = 140.91/180
n/100 =
n = 0.7828*100
n = 78.28
