Elijah and his sister went to the movies. They had $34 altogether and spent $9.50 per ticket. Elijah and his sister bought the same snacks. Write and solve an inequality for the amount that each person spent snacks. Interpret the solution. PLZ HELP ITS DUE TOMORROW!!!!!

lets say that x is the amount in dollar that both Elijah and his sister spent on the snacks in the movie

The equality would be :
2x  = 34 - (2 * 9.50)
 
2x  = 34 - 19

2x = 15

x  = $ 7.5
