make both Improper fractions by taking 3*10=30+3=33 put that over 10. then 2*5=10+2=12 put that over 5. so you have 33/10-12/5 take 12/5*2/2 to make the denominators equal at 10 so now you have 33/10-24/10= 9/10 and that is your answer.
