Describe, in your own words, how does Coleridge's writing style in "Kubla Khan" convey the dream-like feeling of the poem? How might the inspiration for his poem effected the style?

Respuesta :

The style is free and doesn't follow any specific meter or rhyme scheme. This is good because it is a good way of showing a dream because it's not rigid, like dreams often are not. In the second part where he was woken up the things change and that can instantly be noticed.

Answer:

In this poem the style that it uses is free, it doesn't seem to use rhyme or meter method of poetry. This is a great way of explaining or presenting a dream because it won't be stiff or unable to shape, just like how we cannot control our dreams. In the last part of this poem when he wakes up, everything that is described is very noticeably different.
