Respuesta :

Transform faults are harder to find because they are not single straight lines of movement, it is zigzagged.

This term denotes the sliding of two tectonic plates past one another where horizontal motion dominates. Earthquakes are expected to happen during transform faults because they are the one segments of fracture zones that are seismically active.

Transform faults are harder to find than divergent and convergent boundaries because:

  • They are zig-zagged

Transform faults are those types of faults which occurs when two tectonic plates move across each other whole convergent and divergent boundaries are those faults which occurs in a straight line as they move across and slide through each other.

As a result of this, the reason why the transform faults are more difficult to find are that they are not one dimensional as they move in zig zag fashion.
