There is no following...but I have some ideas!
Because a short burst of a workout isn't enough to tear muscle tissue right away! You have to pile multiple exercises up to tear the muscle tissue so it can regrow during your recovery phase. You have to put a lot of stress on muscles to tear the muscle tissues and make progress in working out!
