How might pride be an advantage as well as a drawback? Comment on the statement, “Pride cometh before the fall.”

Pride can be an advantage because you feel good about yourself, and you are confident. It can also be a drawback because sometimes you can feel superior to others and that is not a good trait. "Pride cometh before fall" is a statement meaning people who are too arrogant are likely to fail.
Well, several ways if a king or queen receives pride (LOTS OF IT) they might abuse it and get their kingdom to do stuff they don't want to do it, one day it could be a peaceful kingdom and another could be slaves and torture! It could be an advantage that the queen or king could be richer and more power than them. The drawbacks could be they could loose all of their family and loving friends. Well on the sentence what I think about it is if you be prideful you will die alone and be sad forever...
